Opening hours:Open all day every day
-
Fonguei Cave, named after the nearby old fishing village, sits on the southern tip of Fonguei Peninsula. The peninsula's coast boasts magnificent columns of basalt, sculpted over time by the relentless summer monsoon. These waves have carved a long, dramatic sea cave that comes alive at the peak of high tide. Sea and air surge in concert, transforming the cave into a symphony of crashing waves, erupting fountains, and the eerie whistle of wind echoing through the basalt pillars. It's a sight that truly takes your breath away.
